Printer & paper

Nudge moves everything together when the printer feeds the leaf slightly off. Right and down are as you read the cheque, whichever way it goes into the printer. Use negative numbers for left/up.

"Printed as A4" needs no driver setup: pick A4 in the print dialog. Do a Test print on a plain sheet cut to 89 × 203 mm; if the outline lands beside the leaf, change "Leaf position in the tray".

For the other "Cheque in tray" options, add a custom paper size of 89 × 203 mm (portrait) in the printer driver and pick it in the print dialog.

Calibrate against your real cheque

1. Scan or photograph a blank cheque (flat, cropped to its edges) and load it below. It only shows in the preview and is never printed.
2. Drag each field onto its line.
3. Tick "test print" and print on plain paper, then hold it against a real cheque to the light. Adjust with the nudge values.
